Caractérisation des désordres de motilité digestive congénitaux ou acquis
pseudoobstruction, achalasie, atrésie de l'oesophage, malformations anorectales, maladie de Hirschsprung
We have published one of the largest series of pediatric patients with intestinal pseudoobstruction and several other papers on functional (manometric studies) evaluation, genetic or etiopathogenic factors in congenital motility disorders.
We are currently conducting the characterization of esophageal motility patterns and lower esophageal sphincter distensibility using EndoFlip in achalasia in children.
We are also interested in acquired post surgical motility disorders such as esophageal atresia, sequellae of anorectal malformations or postocclusive intestinal dysmotility.
We are collaborating with Dr. Pilon's group on treatment of Hirschsprung's disease using GDNF.
